With quite excellent facilities and an enviable location, this is an ideal base for exploring the area and in low season is super for young families.
Located in the ‘Sports Capital of Austria’, Sportcamp Woferlgut offers both hotel standard facilities and an unsurpassed choice of walks and waterfalls nearby. In addition to the fishing and swimming in the private lake, the parc also features a 150m2 Kinderland and a small swimming pool. You should be aware that access is via an under-pass from the parc, where some road and rail noise can be heard. From May, family sports are organised as well as twice-weekly bbq parties for everyone. Just a few kilometres down the road is Zell am See with its crystal clear lake, said to be the cleanest in Europe and perfect for swimming and watersports, while incredibly, you can also find summer skiing at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
Sportcamp Woferlgut is a first class campsite in the most stunning location and offers top facilities for all the family! With a heated swimming pool and slide and a wonderful private lake, as well as superb animation and activities, Sportcamp Woferlgut is an excellent choice.
There is an un-matched choice of walks, mountains, waterfalls and the lakeside resort of Zell am See is only a few kilometres away, with its chic shops, bars and restaurants. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and is perfect for watersports and swimming.
The small village of Bruck is a 10 minute walk away and also has a small selection of bars and restaurants and a supermarket.
If all this is not enough, why not try your hand at summer skiing at the nearby Kitzsteinhorn glacier or the on-site gym? Close by you will also find the largest National Park in the Alps, the "Großglockner" - Austria's highest mountain, the highest waterfalls in Europe and much much more.
