A first class parc with excellent facilities, adjacent to a superb beach.
A friendly welcome is assured at Playa Joyel, together with enough amenities to keep even families with older teenagers happy. These include two tennis courts and a popular underground disco which is open every night in July and August when the parc is at its liveliest. But the main attraction has to be the beautiful beach that runs next to the parc, which is one of many to choose from in the area. Known as the ‘Green Coast’, perhaps as much for the sparkling green and blue waters of the sea as for the lush scenery all around, Cantabria promises you incredible views of the sea from the coast road leading to Pedrena, and of course, the majestic peaks of the Cantabrian and Picos de Europa mountains behind you. Cantabria also brings you so much of Spain’s rich folk culture, and Noja is close to the richly historic port of Bilbao which is at the heart of the Basque country.
