When it comes to Parc de Montsabert, small is definitely beautiful. The parc is set in the midst of mature, spacious grounds where leafy trees offer welcome shade to most of the neatly bordered pitches, and mighty redwoods overlook the children’s pool, covered pool, snack bar and terrace. Besides the natural beauties of the parc, the friendly new owners, have created the perfect base to relax and unwind. In high season they also organise numerous family activities including sports tournaments. Beyond the parc itself, you will find yourself right between Saumur and Angers, two of the Loire’s most celebrated medieval towns. Saumur, about 20km away, is especially worth a visit, with an enchanting château at its heart.
