Campsite description:A first class base in the heart of Chianti country, with plenty to do both inside and outside the parc. Overview A first class holiday village with fabulous pools, in the heart of the Chianti wine region of Tuscany. Norcenni is a beautiful campsite with a hillside setting offering lovely views. The site’s excellent facilities include a pool complex with lazy river, a large pool with waterslide, covered pool, tennis courts and a health club. Old stone farm buildings house two rustic-style restaurants, a popular bar and supermarket right in the heart of the campsite. Because there is no road access to the small pitches, parking areas are provided elsewhere. Some of our accommodation is set on steep terraces. Around and About Visit the local vineyards and sample some of the delicious Chianti wine. Use the train or campsite bus to visit Florence, the most beautiful city in Italy and only twenty nine miles away, with its wealth of Renaissance paintings, churches squares and the Accademia, residence of Michelangelo’s ‘David’.
