The parc itself is attractively laid out too, with facilities which include a lakeside restaurant with outside terrace, where weekend discos are held in high season; as well as a new sports complex. Beyond the parc, the town of Bolsena is a pleasant 2km stroll away, while for the more adventurous, the eternal city of Rome is just 100 autostrada kilometres from the parc, with Florence, Siena, Perugia and Assisi also within comfortable reach for day trips.
