Campsite description:Overview El Bahira campsite is set in a stunning location, to the west of Palermo and 3km from the town of San Vito Lo Capo on the sun kissed island of Sicily. Camping El Bahira is set within 80,000m2 of palm-lined terrain overlooking the Gulf of Makari towards Monte Cofano. Superbly equipped and well maintained, El Bahira offers excellent facilities for all. Its spacious swimming pools (one for adults and one for children) are filled with clear blue water from the Mediterranean and provide ample room for sunbathing or activities in the shade. The site’s scuba diving school provides the opportunity to explore one of the best underwater worlds on this part of the coast. To keep the children entertained, a whole range of activities is available throughout the season and in the evenings there is a packed programme of entertainment available to suit all. Around and About There is plenty to see in the vicinity, not least the beautiful white sands of San Vito lo Capo beach, only 3.5km from Camping El Bahira. The nature reserves of Monte Cofano and Zingaro are 11km away and further afield there are many historical discoveries in Mozia, Trapani, Segesta and Erice.
