Campsite description:

A large, bustling parc with superb pools, a relaxed atmosphere and great beach, which is a big favourite with British families.

The ideal place for a sunshine and swimming holiday Ca’ Savio offers not one but two pool complexes, which close during siesta and have plenty of room for swimming or simply splashing around. One is opposite the bar and restaurant and comprises no less than six pools, while the other complex is in an attractive pine wood setting to the rear of the parc. There is also a busy programme of activities for all ages during high summer, and of course the superb beach. The long, sandy beach is accessed directly from the parc, and you can hire a pedalo, swim or simply soak up the sun. And when you feel like a break from the warm sands and cooling water, the many delights of Venice are within easy reach by boat.

Overview

Only a boat ride from the heart of Venice, Ca’Savio is great for both sightseeing and a relaxing beach holiday.

Situated just over ten minutes walk from the town of Ca’Savio, this is a large, lively and well-equipped site. It has direct access to a long stretch of golden sandy beach, lapped by the warm waters of the Adriatic. There is an excellent swimming pool complex, and the campsite staff organise a programme of sports and entertainment during high season. The pizzeria and bar are extremely popular in the evenings. Venice is only a short bus ride and pleasant forty-five minute boat ride away.

Around and About

While staying at Ca’Savio take a trip into Venice, and use the waterbuses to discover the Grand Canal. Aqualandia, a waterpark near Jesolo, is twenty minutes’ drive away and very popular with the children. Visit the vineyards of Treviso, an attractive old walled town to the north, and sample some of the local wines.
