A large, modern site with a lakeside setting, ideal for families who enjoy outdoor activities.
Bella Italia is a lively site, set on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The adjoining narrow, shingle beach offers safe bathing for children and spectacular views across the lake. One of the two pools is a lagoon pool complex with sun terrace. A promenade along the lakeside leads to Peschiera del Garda, just one mile away. The entertainment team on-site arrange an extensive choice of family activities and weekly discos for different age groups. Campsite rules are strictly applied here for everyone’s enjoyment, and no motorbikes are allowed.
Around and About
To the west is the historic lakeside port of Sirmione, with its fortified harbour and 13th century castle. Bardolino is on the eastern side of the lake where you can sample some of the famous wine. Visit Verona’s famous Roman amphitheatre and Romeo and Juliet’s balcony. A visit to Gardaland Theme Park, five miles away is highly recommended.
Camping Bella Italia is right on the shores of Lake Garda! The pebble beach offers a variety of activities including swimming, sailing, waterskiing or simply soaking up the sun and the views! Even take a stroll along the water's edge all the way into the centre of the local town Peschiera del Garda.
There is a wonderful swimming pool complex on the camp site with several pools including impressive water slides, shallow sections for the youngest children, palm trees, a real sandy beach and a spacious terrace with deckchairs and parasols.
The campsite provides an excellent animation program for all the family and the facilities on the campsite are second to none - bars, restaurants, ice-cream parlour and supermarket to name just a few!
The town of Peschiera offers plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and ferries leave the port taking you all over Lake Garda! Take the boat to wonderful Malcesine and catch the cable car to the top of Mount Baldo (1.745 m) for some spectacular views, reaching from Riva in the north to Sirmione in the south!
Closeby experience the wonders of old Verona with it's boutique lined streets, ice cream parlours and the wonderful roman amphitheatre. Take a stroll to the original Romeo and Juliet's house and balcony!
If you are looking something little more action packed, why not take a trip to Gardaland, Italy's largest themepark? Or Movie Sudios or even the water park Acqua Paradise?
